In textile advertising as well as in corporate fashion, JAMES & NICHOLSON is among the best known and most popular brands. The product diversity of the collection is unique and supplemented by about 40 trendy novelties every year. In the fields of sport, leisure, business and work there is hardly a garment that is not offered by the diverse product range.

Moreover, JAMES & NOCHOLSON stands for functional sportswear for almost every sport, for trendy leisurewear and jackets as well as classic business wear and sturdy workwear. For all everyday situations, JAMES & NICHOLSON offers suitable clothes for ladies and men. Nearly 40 colours and outsizes up to 6XL are standard for many products.

The garments of JAMES & NICHOLSON are manufactured respecting the BSCI code of conduct. This code includes, inter alia, the clear commitment to the employees’ right to freedom of assembly, protection against discrimination and an adequate remuneration, that is, at least the statutory national minimum wage. 

Another central component is the occupational safety regulations. E.g. child labour, forced labour or precarious jobs are not tolerated. 

By being a member of amfori BEPI, we can significantly improve the environmental sustainability of our supply chains.

RESPONSIBILITY



When manufacturing their textiles, JAMES & NICHOLSON relies on 

environmental compatibility. This includes i.a. the certification Oekotex standard 100, which guarantees that the strict global standards for the protection against harmful substances are adhered to, as well as the REACH-regulations. In cooperation with SGS, Testex, Hohenstein and other renowned institutes, the quality is continually controlled.

An important component of the collection of JAMES & NICHOLSON is also the content of ecological materials such as recycled polyester, according to OCS 100. With recycled polyester, collected plastic bottles are crushed, melted down and spun to yarn again, which is sometimes completely integrated into the production.

The more sun protection, the better. 

Many people work outdoors all day or part of the day. They have a much higher risk of contracting skin cancer than people working indoors. The same goes for leisure activities outdoors. The sun is your constant companion and supplies the vital vitamin D. But a lot of sun also means: UV-protective clothing.

Our garments are certified according to the Australian / New Zealand standard AS/NZS 4399: 2017. In addition, the textiles are tested for the UV-protective factor by LABTECH Prüfgesellschaft.
