Functionele textiel moet de mogelijkheid hebben om vocht zo snel als mogelijk van de huid door de stof heen naar buiten te transporteren. De doorlaatbaarheid geeft aan hoeveel damp in grammen door een oppervlakte van 1 m² in 24uur tijd kan verdampen. Hoe hoger de waarde, des te beter het materiaal ademt.

De mate om waterdruk te weerstaan zonder dat deze door het materiaal heen penetreert is weergeven door de waterkolom (mm).
De minimale standaard is een waterkolom van 1,500 mm.

Om te voorkomen dat vocht door het materiaal penetreert kunnen zomen en naden getaped worden. Getapete naden zijn 100% waterbestendig.

Deze speciale afwerking zorgt dat overhemden en blouses enkel licht gestreken hoeven te worden. Vermijd te heet strijken en te heet drogen om deze functie te behouden

De speciale afwerking maakt de overhemden en blouses strijkvrij: Het enige wat u hoeft te doen wassen, drogen en aantrekken. Om deze functie te behouden mag deze textiel niet op te hoge temperatuur in de droger of met te heet gestreken worden. Indien noodzakelijk kunnen de zoomen gestreken worden op een lage temperatuur.

Deze keuze van cap is bijzonder goed voor veredeling middels drukken. Het model cap geeft bijzonder veel ruimte en daardoor is het eenvoudig om een logo optimaal te veredelen.
